When printing from your Surface Book and you are getting a message of "printer is offline," please try the following steps to attempt to correct the issue.
1.) Reboot your Surface. To do this, go to Start, select the Power button, and then select Restart.
2.) Restart your printer. To do this, disconnect and reconnect the power cord on the back of the printer, wait for about 2-3 minutes and try to print again.
If the reboot did not resolve your issue please submit a tech ticket for the tech team.
