- Turn on your Chromebook.
- Click on the time in the bottom-right corner of the screen to open the system tray.
- Select the Settings gear icon to open the Settings menu.
- In the Settings menu, scroll down and click on "About ChromeOS" located at the bottom of the left-hand sidebar.
- Click on "Check for updates" under the "Google ChromeOS" section. Your Chromebook will now check for any available updates.
- If an update is available, it will start downloading automatically. Wait for the download to complete.
- Once the download is finished, you will see a notification to restart your Chromebook to apply the update. Click on "Restart" to complete the update process.
